Plunger Jetting Pumps

Plunger pumps are high-pressure, positive displacement pumps designed for heavy-duty applications, such as sewer line cleaning, boiler tube cleaning etc. Unlike centrifugal pumps, plunger pumps are ideal for handling thick, abrasive, or high-viscosity materials and can generate significant pressure (up to 3,000 bar or more).

Key Features and Applications
  • High-Pressure Cleaning: Plunger pumps are commonly used in “sewer jetting” to remove stubborn debris, grease, and tree roots from sewer lines.
  • Sludge Handling: They efficiently transport sewage, sludge, and industrial waste with high solids concentration.
  • Durability: Plunger pumps often feature ceramic, stainless steel, or hardened cast iron plungers to withstand abrasive, corrosive materials.
  • Configuration: They are available in simplex, duplex, triplex, and six plunger designs, with triplex being common for delivering a smooth, low-pulsation flow.
